THE PENTHOUSE HYDE PARK

The Penthouse Hyde Park is an events venue housed atop a former hotel popular among the Hyde Park, Chicago elite in the 1920s in and 30s.

Once the building was sold and converted from hotel rooms to apartments, the rooftop ballroom sat vacant. Past residents recall using the space as a play area, shooting hoops in a net affixed to the west wall and setting up their drumset for band practice with their high school friends growing up.

In 2015, the building took new ownership, and in 2020, the ballroom went from drab to fab with an incredible restoration project. Now called The Penthouse Hyde Park, the venue opened its doors to high-class social events in June 2021.

A logo was created, but all branding materials were needed to appropriately market such a gorgeous space. That’s where I came in.

In addition to outdoor signage and advertisements, I single-handedly worked with the dev team to create the revised company website. Prior to opening their doors, a very basic site was in place that featured stock images and architectural renderings. I combed through thousands of professional photos we received in our first year, copywrote every page, and collaborated on the design to create what you see today on their page.

I’ve also handled all in-house documents for marketing and educational purposes. See below:
